Downside-Up: The Haunted Crypt Is Live
Zone 2 opens with a Halloween course, three hearts, moving bone spikes, and a new leaderboard to climb.

The Haunted Crypt is live in Downside-Up. Beat Level 3 to unlock Level 4, the first course of Zone 2: purple crypt halls, spectral portals, haunted blocks, candy to collect, and a coffin treasure chest waiting at the finish.
A friendly skeleton takes the lead, with three hearts fixed on screen. Bone spikes still bounce you back, but now each hit costs a heart. A second of flashing protection gives you time to recover; lose the last heart and the level fades out, restores your health and collectibles, and starts a fresh attempt.
The bone spikes gently rise and fall, so watch their timing as you cross the floor or race along the ceiling. Gravity flips and movable-block puzzles return, with optional candy routes for players chasing a full clear.
Every level now fades in with a 3, 2, 1, Go countdown. Movement and the run timer begin at Go, giving every attempt a clear start. Levels 1–3 keep their original art and bounce-only spikes.
Level 4 has its own online leaderboard. Candy counts as coins for scoring: collect more first, then use a faster time to break a tie. Your run competes on the monthly, yearly, and all-time boards, and completing the course follows your account just like the earlier levels.
Play Downside-Up from its game page to take your Orcwood handle into the crypt. The Halloween course is ready whenever you finish Zone 1.
