Downside-Up: The September Board Is Open
The monthly leaderboard has rolled over — everyone starts September on an empty board.

Downside-Up runs a fresh leaderboard every month, and September just started. Whatever anyone posted in August is now sitting on August, which means the top of the board is empty again and the fastest run today is the fastest run of the month.
Same courses, same physics. The only thing that changes is how efficiently you read a course before committing to it.
Every run competes on three boards at once: this month, this year, and all time. A bad month never touches an all-time record, and a single good run lands on all three.
One rule worth knowing before you chase a time: coins come first, and the clock only breaks ties. A blistering run that skips pickups loses to a slower full clear. If you want the top of the board, take the whole course.
You do not need an account to set a time — open the game, play, and the run is yours to claim afterwards if you decide you want it on the board under your handle.
Boards are live on the Downside-Up page and beside the game itself. They roll over at midnight UTC, so the last hours of the month are worth watching.
